Hoback Peak Outfitters offers summer pack trips into the heart of the Bridger–Teton wilderness during the months of July and
August. Our gentle mountain horses will carry you into some of the most beautiful country Wyoming has to offer. Whether you’re an experienced horseman or a first time
rider, our horses are ready and capable of packing you and your gear safely to our camping destination.
We have several different camp sites to choose from, depending on the activities you wish to embark on. If you’re an avid fly fisherman, we have camp sites next to rivers
and streams abundant with cutthroat and brook trout. High Mountain lakes are scattered throughout the wilderness presenting spin fishing and swimming opportunities.
Some camp sites are located in the high country at over 10,000 feet, giving you spectacular views of the nearby mountain ranges where the big horn
sheep roam.
Spend your days hiking, exploring, horseback riding, or looking for fossils in a secret fossil bed, the adventures never end.
With the abundance of wildlife, it’s not
uncommon to see elk, deer, moose or bears on any given day, so make sure you bring your camera! At the end of the day, you’ll
settle down to a western style Dutch oven dinner all cooked right over the fire. After stories are told around the evening camp fire,
fall asleep under the starry night sky that you will only find in beautiful Wyoming.
Our pack trips run from 4 to 7 days, with 5 day trips being the most popular. We can accommodate up to 9 people per trip, and families and kids are welcome!
2008 prices are $225 per person, per day. A small deposit is required to hold your reservation, and is nonrefundable. Please contact us as soon as possible to reserve
